Bio Energetic Synchronization Technique

B.E.S.T. is a physical yet non-forceful, energy-balancing procedure used by the hands to reestablish the full healing potential of the body using its natural healing abilities. B.E.S.T. removes the interference and/or distractions that are demanding the attention of the healing power; thereby causing the imbalance in the autonomic nervous system and ultimately leading to disease. Researched at major universities, taught as an elective in many chiropractic colleges and in professional continuing education seminars, B.E.S.T. is recognized by the industry as an effective healing science.

Basic

The Basic or Face-down procedure is a portion of the B.E.S.T. system designed to be studied as an entry level to the technique. This procedure is based on scientific principles utilizing pressure points to effectively allow the patient's body to update physiological function based on current need rather than past experience. By first stabilizing the Parasympathetic nervous system and then balancing the Sympathetic nervous system with it, total body balance with lasting updated muscle memory patterns is possible.

When muscles are effectively balanced, including the intrinsic muscles of the spine, vertebral subluxations are repositioned naturally and with virtually no force. This method of reducing subluxation is both painless and effective, since the body's own muscles do the work. By taking this approach, updated cerebellar messages communicate with the affected muscle-spindle/golgi tendon to balance spinal muscle tone. The physical procedure is administered in the prone position, utilizing the Prone Leg Check, palpating the spinal muscles, and lightly holding pressure points along the spine.

Advanced

The Advanced or Face-up procedure is the core of the B.E.S.T. system. This procedure is designed to directly remove high brain interference from expression in the physical body. Developed to identify and then remove interference caused by stored emotional patterns, the procedure allows the patient to consciously focus on certain feelings that have been stored in the brain as memory engrams and subsequently allow the sub-conscious portions of the brain to update for current need rather than past experience. By following the specific protocol, the practitioner need not become aware of the patient's thoughts or feelings, thus eliminating the emotional interaction between patient and practitioner. Once the specific emotion, recurring thought, stress or feeling has been identified, the practitioner instructs the patient's conscious thought process, eye position, and breathing pattern to re-time the body toward a more appropriate current need. Once the patient's body is functioning based on current, updated need, rather than a series of past experiences, true healing can and will occur. The physical procedure is administered in the face-up position, utilizing the Arm Strength Check, Leg Length/Spasticity Check, and touching, lightly, the treatment points on the head and cervical spine.

Dr. Michael Asks some important questions of interest to Nixa residents - Chiropractor Nixa Dr. Michael Asks...

How could a child benefit from chiropractic?
Regardless of our age, each of us in Nixa encounters physical, chemical and emotional stresses that exceed our ability to handle. For newborns, it could be the trauma encountered at birth. For toddlers it could be from learning to walk or ride a bike. Many of the problems we chiropractors see in adults are the result of neglected traumas from childhood.
What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The only effects of chiropractic are positive effects. If you're a Nixa parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
